JUST WHO DOES SHE THINK SHE IS?

Tabatha in 1975 (Storrow School Lawrence, MA)Tabatha Jean DŽAgata was a redheaded, freckled-faced kid born in Lawrence, Massachusetts who liked to spend time imagining herself as Nancy Drew or admiring her grandmother's jungle-licious garden. She attended Lawrence schools (where she also consumed large amounts of Indian Head Pumpkin Seeds when her teachers weren't looking) and found her first knack for writing in a third grade classroom. Her writing grew over the years from horribly rhymed poetry to carefully plotted stories (though D'Agata does credit the growth to English/writing courses, much needed involvement with critique groups, writing workshop & SCBWI). D'Agata continued her love for writing by authoring many stories for children like Marvin Monster's Monsterific Adventures, Silent Sam, Ick The Stick, Storm Tunes and Pampered Pals. She also has a regularly featured column in Parent Express Newspaper and is owner and executive editor of The Savvy Click online.

Today, Tabatha currently resides in the charmiTabatha D'Agata during her "Wordy Recipe" Presentationng town of Hooksett, NH with her husband, their son and daughter and their two little dogs.  She considers her children to be her greatest accomplishments and truly loves being a Mama :) Aside from writing, she loves surfing the Internet, making a mess of her kitchen when trying new recipes, music, dancing (though most of the dancing is done while she's cleaning her house), silliness with her kids, crafting and just spending time with her family and friends! Simply stated, D'Agata says: "I'm a mom, wife, mema, daughter, sister, aunty, cousin, niece, friend, writer...."
